MONDAY - Homework and Parkour Club

Homework Club

Work on your homework in a supportive, focused environment. A member of staff supervises students. They give help where possible, though will not operate as a tutor.

Parkour Term 1 Basics

Parkour is the physical discipline of getting from point A to point B as quickly, efficiently or creatively as possible. Beginners will be taught basic jumping, vaulting and landing techniques, how to train safely, and be creative in their physical environment. 

Parkour builds great body coordination, confidence and strength. Beginner tricks and basic acrobatic movements will also be covered. 

Training sessions are operated by the parkour and freerunning team “Run Ldn”. The coaches who run the sessions have appeared in numerous Hollywood films and television programmes. Run Ldn classes have been featured on Teaching Times, and the team also write a regular column for Creative Teaching magazine covering new approaches to physical education. TUESDAY - Football and Homework Club

Football Club

Football club provides training for the boys and girls football teams, The ICS Super Reds. The sessions will focus on techniques, drills, game play strategies and matches. During the summer term football club will be held at Hyde Park.

Young Coders: Coding and Robotics

This club will start the FIRST week of term on Thursday 25th April.

“We are constantly learning, but it’s like being in a theme park!” – Ani, Previous Young Coder at Riva. Create games, music, animations, apps and stories in what promises to be a hugely fun and inspiring experience for your child. From making self-driving cars and anti-theft alarms to learning how to code, we have an exciting summer term ahead!  

Primary School children will walk over to Star Street escorted by an ICS staff member. All students must bring their own device, including ICS Chrome books. All students must be picked up at 5pm. Open to new and experienced students.
