Risk-takers: adventure trip

The IB Learner Profile encourages a broad and balanced education. Schools can shy away from providing experiences outside the classroom. Not so at ICS. ICS encourages risk-taking within the safe confines of an activity centre in the UK. Our students learn how to stay safe whilst challenging themselves.

This year ICS went to a PGL adventure centre. There is a crate challenge where students have to pile the most number of crates whilst hanging from a rope. There is also abseiling, canoeing, a zip-wire and a survival session. Students complete on a challenge course for the fastest time. And ambush in the dark is always a favourite, where hide and seek takes on a new dimension without any light!
